Datacenter Location

This site uses the published Azure IP list to compare the DNS names and IP addresses you submit to determine if the server host is within the Azure datacenter.  This works with any Azure server/host.  The Datacenter IP Range list is updated every Wednesday.

 

Supported parameters

You can also use query strings to pass an IP address or DNS name so that the datacenter location is automatically displayed.  This is usefull if you need send the URL with a query string to someone else.  The two query strings that are supported are 'IP' and 'DNS' (in all caps).

Examples:

http://datacenterlocation.azurewebsites.net/?IP=169.254.3.14

http://datacenterlocation.azurewebsites.net/?DNS=contoso.azurewebsites.net
